Actress Bonnie Hunt born on September 22, 1961 is a comedian and actress from the U.S.. Her screen appearances include Rain Man, Beethoven, Beethoven's 2nd, Jumanji, Jerry Maguire, The Green Mile, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Hunt has worked as a voice actress in A Bug's Life, Zootopia, and the Monsters, Inc., Cars, and Toy Story franchises. She appeared in Grand and Davis Rules, and wrote, produced, and acted in The Building, Bonnie, and Life with Bonnie. From 2008 to 2010, she was the host of The Bonnie Hunt Show. Early life Bonnie Lee Hunt was born on September 22, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois. She was born to Robert Edward Hunt (1927-1981), an electrician, and Alice E. Hunt (née Jatczak) (1925-2021). Her father was of Irish and Belgian ancestry, and her mother has Polish roots. Her siblings include three older brothers: Patrick, Kevin, and Tom, as well as two older sisters, Cathy and Carol, and a younger sister, Mary. She attended Catholic schools, including Saint Ferdinand School and Notre Dame High School for Girls in Chicago, and also worked part-time as a nurse's aide. In 1982, Hunt began her career as an oncology nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Two years later, in 1984, she co-founded a comedy troupe known as An Impulsive Thing. Hunt also was part of Chicago's world-famous Second City, joining in 1986. In 1988, during her time as a nurse, Hunt auditioned on her lunch break for the role of waitress Sally Dibbs in Rain Man and secured the role.
